October 30, 2025 Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chainsaw and contact Milwaukee Tool for a free repair. Consumers should register their product at https://service.milwaukeetool.com/support/eservice to receive a prepaid shipping label to return their product to Milwaukee Tool for repair.

This recall involves the M18 FUEL Top Handle Chainsaw, catalog number 2826-20 with a serial break identified with "A" in the product's serial number. The catalog number can be found on the upper right portion of the product's nameplate. The serial number can be found on upper left portion of the nameplate, and the serial break level is the 4th digit of the serial number. The product is a battery-operated chainsaw that comes with either a 12" or 14" bar, which is intended for use with Milwaukee's M18 batteries. The product is sold either individually as a bare tool that includes a chain and bar cover and blade wrench, or as a kit that includes two (2)M18 batteries, an M18 battery charger, a chain and bar cover and a blade wrench.

Cranach Hardware Recalls Tip Restraint Kits Due to Tip-Over Hazard; Manufactured by Cranach Hardware
October 23, 2025 Remedy: Consumers should stop using Cranach Hardware plastic tip restraints immediately and contact Cranach Hardware for a free replacement tip restraint kit made of stainless steel. Keep children away from the unit while waiting for a replacement tip restraint kit. Consumers will need to provide photographic evidence of destruction or disposal of the product to receive a replacement tip restraint kit from Cranach Hardware.

This recall involves defective plastic tip restraint kits (also referred to as furniture straps) manufactured by Cranach Hardware. The recalled tip restraint kits contain two white plastic brackets/mounts (one for connection to furniture and the other for connection to the wall), a white plastic cable zip tie, two different pairs of screws (one longer than the other), and two drywall anchors. The plastic in the brackets/mounts and the cable zip tie can break or degrade over time, which could lead to furniture tipping over if a consumer interacts with furniture that was secured by the recalled product. CPSC testing revealed that the recalled plastic tip restraints failed to meet the requirements of ASTM F3096-23, the industry standard for tip restraints. Young children or elderly adults could be severely injured if interacting with furniture that is secured to the wall with these defective plastic tip restraints.

TTI Consumer Power Tools will send a prepaid label to the consumer to return the recalled nailer, the software in the nailer will be updated, and then the nailer will be shipped back to the consumer.

DEWALT Recalls Grinder Flap Discs Due to Laceration and Injury Hazards
July 3, 2025 Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled flap discs and go to the DEWALT website at https://www.dewalt.com/support/safety-notices-and-recalls/flap-disc-recall to participate in the recall. Consumers will be asked to write "Recall" on the disc and upload a photograph to the firm's website. Consumers will then be asked to certify that they disposed of it in the trash to receive a refund.

This recall involves DEWALT Elite Grinder Series 4.5-inch 40G T27 High Density Flap Discs, models DWA8280HRT and DWA8280RT, that are compatible with angle grinders for heavy duty use. Only units with date codes 2024-36 to 2024-48 are part of the recall. The model number is on the front cover of the flap disc located at the top above the name "DEWALT." The date code for recalled discs is printed on the shipping boxes in year - week format and is also stamped on the individual discs. June 5, 2025 Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chainsaws and contact DR Power for a refund. Consumers will receive a pro-rated refund for the chainsaw tool based on the chainsaw's age. Consumers will need to show proof of the chainsaw's destruction by uploading a photograph in accordance with the destruction instructions and filling out the recall form online. For instructions on destroying the chainsaw, visit https://www.drpower.com/BPC-recall. If consumers choose to dispose of the recalled chainsaw's lithium-ion battery, consumers should recycle the lithium-ion batteries in accordance with local and state regulations.

This recall involves DR Power Equipment lithium-ion battery-powered chainsaws with the following model numbers: 414170, 414181, 41418 and 414170R. The chainsaws have a black handle and orange buttons, and a label printed with DR Pulse 62V. The model and serial number are printed on a white label located on the right side of the chainsaw handle. Note: If you choose to dispose of the recalled chainsaw's lithium-ion battery, do not throw this lithium-ion battery in the trash, in the general recycling stream (e.g., street-level or curbside recycling bins), or in used battery recycling boxes found at various retail and home improvement stores. Lithium-ion batteries must be disposed of differently than other batteries, because they present a greater risk of fire. Your municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) collection center may accept this lithium-ion battery for disposal. Before taking your battery to a HHW collection center, contact that office ahead of time and ask whether it accepts lithium-ion batteries. If it does not, contact your municipality for further guidance.

The recall involves Multi-Grip Tub Safety Bars sold under the brands Peerless, model PL585; Safety First, models SF585 and S1F585; and Delta, model DF585. The recalled Multi-Grip Tub Safety Bars are powder-coated aluminum, were sold in the color white, and feature a one-inch diameter tube with two gripping surfaces at about 8 inches and 15 inches. August 4, 2022 Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled miter saws and contact DeWALT for details on how to receive a free repair kit or to take their saw to a DeWALT service center for a free repair. DeWALT is directly contacting all known purchasers.

This recall involves DeWALT Models DWS779, DWS780 and DHS790 Miter Saws. The saws have a yellow body with black accents and the DeWALT logo. The model number is printed on the saw's nameplate. Only saws with date codes 2019 04 through 2022 04 are affected. For the DWS779 and DWS780 models the date codes are marked on the black plastic motor end cap adjacent to the name plate. For the DHS790 model, the date code is marked on the outside of the plastic yellow housing adjacent to the batteries. Only saws without a green dot on the name plate or a black dot on the arm of the saw are included in this recall.

December 9, 2020 Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pole saw/pruners and contact Fiskars Brands to receive instructions on how to destroy and dispose of the product in exchange for a full refund.

This recall involves Fiskars 16-foot extendable pole saw/pruners with model numbers 9463, 9440 and 9441. These pole saw/pruners are lawn and garden tools that extend from 7 feet to 16 feet and are used to cut high tree branches with either their pruner (for smaller branches) or their 15-inch hooked wood saw blade (for larger branches). The blade is secured to an oval-shaped fiberglass and aluminum telescoping pole set that locks into place through a double-locking system consisting of two orange c-clamps and a black and orange lock and pin mechanism in each of the upper and lower pole assemblies. They have an orange and black pole. "Fiskars" is printed on the pole. The model number is printed on the UPC code on the pole.

This recall involves 3-inch, 5-inch and 6-inch Mirka CEROS compact electric random orbital sanders. The sanders are yellow and black with "Mirka" on the front. A speed control lever is on the top of the sanders and a vacuum hose connector on the rear. The recalled sanders came with either a cardboard box or plastic carrying case, a 12-foot power cord, DC transformer (only in certain sanders), a wrench, a multi-hole backup pad and assorted abrasives. The 3-inch sander is model CEROS 325. The 5-inch sander is model CEROS 550. The 6-inch sander is model CEROS 650. Model names are on a white sticker on the back of the sander housing beneath the hand grip, and in certain sanders, the serial number can only be found on this sticker. The metal lifts are red, have three 30-inch legs with casters at the base, horizontal bars at the top to hold the drywall and a telescoping post that can extend vertically to a height of 11 feet using the manual crank. The recalled drywall lifts have a label on the vertical mast stating "PERFORMANCE BUILT," "MUD BOSS" OR "150 LB. DRYWALL PANEL HOIST."

March 8, 2016 Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled wall plates, remove them and contact Liberty Hardware Manufacturing for a full refund.

The recalled allen + roth Linden and Brainerd Ironton wall plates have two plates that are attached by hidden fasteners: (1) a backplate that screws into the wall like traditional wall plates, and (2) a decorative cover that snaps over the cover through use of spring clips. The recalled plates have a smooth, metallic finish and fit a variety of switch and outlet designs. The recalled decorative wall plates snap onto the backplate without the use of screws. Under the decorative plate, the backplate is stamped with the letters "LHMC."

The item number is located on a black label on the right side of the drill, just beneath the serial number. Drills with item number 69651 and item number 69652 are not included in the recall.

This recall involves the EY3530NQMKW 15.6V Cordless Metal Cutter Kit and the EYC136NQK 15.6V Cordless Metal Cutter Combo Kit. The model EY3530 metal cutter saw is a circular metal cutting saw in black with yellow accents. "Panasonic" is printed in white letters on the upper wrap around blade guard. This recall involves a nut chopper sold by Avon. The recalled nut chopper is 7 1/2 inches tall and has clear plastic upper and lower chambers connected by an orange plastic grinding mechanism. The grinding mechanism has metal tines and a metal crank arm with an orange plastic grip handle. The lower chamber has a removable orange base and markings that show it holds about 1 1/4 cup of materials. The upper chamber has orange plastic lid. The product identification number found on the outside of the Nut Chopper individual, corrugated box packaging was F3730731 and the brochure number was 978-044.
