The buttons can come off, posing a small parts choking hazard to young children. The Children's Place has received three reports of buttons detaching. No injuries have been reported. The recalled baseball shirts are grey, blue, white or red with contrasting colors at the trim. They were available in boys sizes 3 to 36 months. The shirts have four baseball-shaped buttons down the front. A tag at the neck reads in part, "The Children's Place, Made in Turkey". On the left front of the shirt there is an embroidered baseball surrounded by the words, "Baseball Place USA". "Place" and the number "9" are embroidered on the back of the shirt. The recalled one-piece rompers are grey, blue or red with contrasting colors at the trim. They were available in boys sizes 3 to 36 months. The rompers have four baseball-shaped buttons down the front and snaps around the crotch. A tag at the neck reads in part, "The Children's Place, Made in Turkey". On the left front of the romper there is an embroidered baseball surrounded by the words, "Baseball Place USA". "Place" and the number "9" are embroidered on the back of the romper. The Children's Place stores nationwide sold the shirts and rompers from January 2000 through July 2000. The shirts cost about $12 and the rompers cost about $14. Consumers should take these clothes away from their children immediately.
